Tonight's V&V rehearsal opened up with a little video research. John, the director, had the whole cast watch this video of Shaw & Lee, two of the greatest vaudevillians ever. We were all duly impressed with their fluidity, their graceful motions and their impeccable timing.
This is the clip that we watched. Check it out to see some of the masters at work.
So, yeah, the bar was set pretty high tonight.
Ah well, gives us something to aim for.
Now, I just have to get these damned lines down!
